Architecture: Stanford University

Taking photos at Stanford University has always been interesting to me; I always felt like there was a new vantage point to explore or a new set of details to center on.

This time around was the first time that I brought my 100mm to focus on these details. It’s easily becoming my favorite lens in my kit because it lets me see unconventional perspectives, different from the ones my eyes see everyday.

The resulting photos feel unfamiliar but understandable, like a newfound set of vocabulary that allowed me to describe what I had been noticing all along.
